About Luis Albert

My name is Luis Albert Adelsohn, I consider myself as a hardworking and motivated person.

I am a Colombian, American Citizen, who has been living in the USA since I was a child.

I have worked in the airline industry for  many years, where I was involved in the area of air safety, when I started my carrer as a pilot a the age of 18 years old.

I’m holding an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Commercial Privileges, training DHC 6-300, ATR 42-320, B 727-100-200, DC-8, Saab 340, CRJ 700/900, B 737-400-800, with more than 8.000 Hours flying in different types of airplanes; also, I’m an Aviation Accident Investigator, Aviation Safety Instructor (ICAO). Academic Instructor Training Course Colombian Air Force Flight Academy.Fluent in English and Spanish languages lived, worked, and studied in both countries United States and Colombia.

Vast knowledge and experience in connection, system safety, human factors, and accident reconstruction.

I was responsible for investigating Aviation Accidents and Incidents, when I was working in South America with the CAA Authorities. 

I have had also the opportunity to be interviewed by different radio stations and television news Caracol Radio Broadcasting in Colombia South America, TV Station NTN-24, Telemumdo 51 Television Broadcasting News and Univision Miami Florida, helping to give concepts when incidents and accidents happened.

Aviation Safety is a major part of my life, and so I spend most of the day Reading and Searching Aviation Safety articles. 

I have been interested in the issues that affect pilot performance for many years and also to understand why accidents happen.

I used multiple sources to derive facts and opinions expressed in Aircraft Safety. 

In my personal view  as a pilot and instructor, every flight you do is a new experience, no matter how many hours you have gathered in your log book, the most important to learn every day is take off and land your airplane safe .

I have a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in aviation safety aerospace at Nova South Eastern University Florida and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

I am also an entrepeneur who founded other companies, developed my skills in enhancing other people to grow in life of other business.

I have also taken courses with Broward Sheriff Office District 8 in Florida and Hallandale Beach Police Department. Training at TSI ( Transportation Safety Institute) FAA Academy Oklahoma City, Basic Aircraft Accident Investigation Course, Basic Rotorcraft Accident Investigation Course, Aviation Recorder Accident Investigator Familiarization and Data Recorder Retrieval Course L-3 Communication Recorders. ICAO Safety Management System (SMS), Strategic Operations, Human Factors, Threat and Error Safety Training.

I like to work with the Aviation Community all around the world to help Pilots learn how to prepare for in–flight emergencies becoming involved in one and how to steer clear of accidents during all phases of flight. During my free time, I like to spend at the Gym work out on my routine, play golf, ride my motorcycle , share time with my family and work in my farm and riding  horses. I am a person who loves sports.

I am basically a simple, adjusting and fun caring person, whom others consider as sincere and friendly too. I am enthusiastic about helping people to understand the concept of Safety.
