It is very interesting the information
contained in this SAFO, in my personal opinion the new generation of Pilots who
get a new Commercial License and get flying in to the Airlines or GA, has another
outlook, the new generation of pilots already are adapted to that new
computerization, the new technology and become more comfortable that the airplane does everything , but in my
personal view as an Aviation Accident Investigator , we need to be careful and
emphasis more on the training, we have to work hard and focus on preventing
future accidents.The SAFO is certainly brief and has good information regarding
the issue for safety reasons.
A SAFO contains important Safety Information
and may include recommended action. SAFO content should be especially valuable
to air carriers in meeting their statutory duty to provide service with the
highest possible degree of safety in the public interest. Besides the specific
action recommended in a SAFO, an alternative action may be as effective in
addressing the safety issue named in the SAFO.
